Fonseca Periquita Red

In the era when most wine was sold by the barrel, Periquita was Portugal's first bottled wine. Made with the easy-going Castelão grape variety, this wine is dry and full-bodied, with raspberry flavours and fine balancing acidity. Moderate tannins provide structure on the finish. Pair with meat dishes, game or firm cheeses.
